We have had the honor of doing titles for many restoraters over the years. One common factor is they do not start the process for titling till the car is complete. Now they have a vehicle worth between $45000 and $85000 that they will need to wait another 3 to 4 months to get titled, and the title may not say the the desired year and make and model on the vehicle. Weather using a donor vehicle or an MSO from a Kit Car manufacturer the process for each state differs, transferring titles from state to state often requires some extra paperwork. Starting the process before you are looking to jump in and go for a cruse is going to make that ride a much happier one. Many of the Car restorer's we have as customers often contact us at the beginning of the process to assure the donor vehicle is not a salvage vehicle or if it is we are able to help restore the tile .

Abandon at Repair and tow facility

We want to let our customers know we have not left our roots! We at WWW.GetNewTitle.com are on top of it. In New Jersey they have changed the procedure but our specialist have found that it only adds a few weeks to the process, we are still getting our customers there titles faster than all the competition and often where our competition can not even work . Here at WWW.GetNewTitle.com we have explored all states and what happens when you transfer these titles from state to state. There are states that do not have certain classifications, they may not have the Certificate of Destruction title so they will issue a Salvage title, that can be transfered to rebuilt or custom title with an inspection. This has helped many of our customers get there vehicles back on the road. We can not clean a title, if the vehicle has a brand on it we can convert it to a different form of the brand in certain states, then our client can transfer it into there home state for the inspection.
Please let us know in the "How acquired" field in the application if it has one of these brands on the title. Vehicles purchased at a Co-Part or Manheim auction are candidates for this process.

Abandon at an Apartment Complex

It never ceases to amaze me what people will leave behind when they move. One thing that is more common than you think are vehicles. When a tenant leaves a vehicle abandon on your property there are a few steps you should take before contacting www.GetNewtitle.Com. First go to your local police station and ask them to run the VIN to see if it is stolen. If it passes the test then go to CarFax.com or another automobile info service and do a VIN check to see if there is a lean against the vehicle. If these steps come back clean then contact WWW.GetNewTitle.com and we can get the title for you with relative ease. This process can be very time consuming and there is no guarantee after you follow all there steps you will get a title for your vehicle

Whether you just like to tinker or you're an automobile design aficionado who's created a special vehicle from scratch, all custom or modified motor vehicles, motorcycles, and trailers must be evaluated by the Department of Motor Vehicles before they can be registered and used on New York's public highways. Such vehicles include homemade or kit automobiles, trucks, or motorcycles as well as other vehicles with special construction, equipment, or characteristics.

Registering a homemade or custom-built vehicle can be a little complicated, and not all applicants are successful: The vehicle needs to be examined and receipts submitted, the DMV might need to issue a vehicle identification number (VIN) for it, it will need a standard safety inspection, and more.

To help you manage the process, the DMV will send you an application package by mail that contains complete information about homemade vehicles, a checklist of instructions, a list of required vehicle equipment, and form MV-272.1 (application for VIN). This last form, which you might not need, is not available online.

The DMV may ask to examine the vehicle, and will almost certainly do so if it is assigning a VIN to it. You'll receive a notice in the mail indicating the date, time, and location of the inspection. You will need to bring all original proofs of purchase, sales receipts, or tax receipts for the vehicle itself or major parts used to make the vehicle; the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) or any other manufacturer's statement; the title certificate and other proofs of ownership; and any other documents that show the source of the vehicle or its major parts.

Kit Car title California

California has a few distinct classifications for Kit cars, custom built and hot rods . From our experience we at Getnewtitle.com have found it much quicker and easier to title in another state and transfer into California

California law describes a custom-built car as one that's "built for private use, not for resale, and is not constructed by a licensed manufacturer or re manufacturer." Basically, a custom-built car is one you built yourself. These types of cars are usually built from kits, or parts taken from salvage vehicles and other cars.

Restored cars, even if you manufactured parts, aren't custom-built. Modification to body, engine, vehicle systems, or the vehicle's interior also don't qualify.

Because custom-built cars are not your typical vehicles, the registration process is a little more involved than with a regular car.

Car title to save money

In the new economy in the US we are all having to make choices. . When titling abandon cars you can either do a mechanics lien for the storage fees or an affidavit of sale for the storage fees. In some states the affidavit of sale works the same as a Bill of Sale allowing a much faster turn around time to get the title.
The affidavit of sale along with a driver license and picture of the Vin all help to secure a title. Lately we have had several cases where our client claimed bankruptcy, and the finance company keep the title but never picked up the vehicle. There is now a way to get the finance company to release the title into the clients name. You can get the title for the vehicle with out paying the finance company because they already forgave the loan and it is a form of lender fraud (blackmail) if they do not return the title in a timely fashion . Mainely Titles Inc., GetNewTitle.com's parent company, has the court case that set the precedent . We have successfully received clients titles held be the finance company.

Boats Boats everywhere and not a title to be found

Well summer is here and at Getnewtitle.com the boat titling specialist are getting busier all the time. We had a fellow from Kansas call with a 1994 21 foot SeaRay who had picked up the boat at a foreclosure action of a house back in December. Here it is May and he wants the title in a week.
